Why wouldn't they want to hear from someone with intimate knowledge of his deals with the Chinese government-aligned energy company CEFC?
Guys, I don't want to spread information or traffic in RUSSIAN conspiracy theories, but I'm starting to think the David Weiss investigation wasn't intended to unearth Hunter Biden's crimes, but instead to bury them.
CBS News, amazingly:
A former business partner of Hunter and James Biden, who worked directly with them on a 2017 China energy deal, was never asked to testify to a Delaware grand jury investigating Hunter Biden, two sources familiar with the discussions tell CBS News.
Tony Bobulinski, the former business partner, was open to testifying, and his attorney reached out to the office of Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss. Weiss did not return their calls, the sources said. Weiss' decision not to bring Bobulinski is the latest indication that prosecutors investigating Hunter Biden may have avoided investigating allegations about his father, President Joe Biden.
...
"I've heard Joe Biden say that he's never discussed business with Hunter. That is false. I have firsthand knowledge about this because I directly dealt with the Biden family, including Joe Biden," Bobulinski said at the press conference. Contacted this week by CBS News, Bobulinski said he stands behind those statements.

Hunter Biden's legal team did not reply to a request for comment.
Shapley brought to his Congressional appearance what he said were transcripts from an FBI interview with Robert Walker, another former business partner of Hunter Biden. Walker allegedly told the FBI that Joe Biden was involved in at least one meeting related to the deal with the Chinese energy firm.
...
Shapley testified that in December 2020, there was a "12-hour long meeting at the United States Attorney's Office in Delaware with the prosecution team" that included Weiss and Wolf. Shapley said the strategy session included a discussion about questions for Walker, and that Wolf sought to limit questions related to then President-elect Joe Biden.
"Wolf interjected and said she did not want to ask about the big guy and stated she did not want to ask questions about 'dad.' When multiple people in the room spoke up and objected that we had to ask, she responded, 'there's no specific criminality to that line of questioning,'" Shapley testified.
Asked about the claims in the Shapley transcripts, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney declined to comment on behalf of Weiss, and Wolf.
Seems to be a pattern, with all the co-conspirators unwilling to talk about their conspiracy.

So to recap the DOJ:
- Tipped off Hunter Biden's legal team about a search warrant on his storage unit
- Prevented investigators from executing a search warrant on his house
- Ordered a "cease and desist" on investigating Hunter during the 2020 election
- Prevented investigators from asking questions about the "big guy"
- Verified his laptop was real in 2019 and then went to Big Tech and told them to censor it during the election
- And didn't even have the key witness in the case testify before the grand jury.
At every turn, Weiss, the DOJ, and other US Attorneys appointed by Biden declined or refused to get search warrants against Hunter Biden to discover additional evidence.
Let's compare the zeal of the Sea-Green Incorruptibles at the DOJ to get Trump, Michael Flynn, and Paul Manafort compared to their heel-dragging and evidence-burying with respect to Hunter Biden and the "Big Guy."
When the Justice Department discovered from journalists a storage locker containing evidence against ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, a search was executed immediately.
But when IRS agents found a similar storage area containing evidence in the Hunter Biden criminal tax probe, they were denied the right to search despite meeting the probable cause standard, then Biden's lawyers were tipped off, according to new congressional testimony.
Likewise, when federal prosecutors believed there was evidence of crimes at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, they launched an unprecedented and full scale-raid on the former president. But when agents wanted to execute a search warrant at Joe Biden's Delaware home because they had probable cause to believe evidence of Hunter Biden tax crimes, they were turned down for a warrant to raid the guest house in which the first son was living.
And when FBI agents believed former Trump adviser Michael Flynn had committed no crime in the Russia collusion case, they nonetheless conducted an interview with him in what a supervisor concluded smacked of an effort to lure him into a lying charge. But when IRS and FBI agents wanted to interview witnesses in the Biden case, they were told most were off limits, including the Biden grandchildren whom agents believed may have unwittingly been entangled in a tax scheme.
A federal prosecutor "told us it will get us into hot water if we interview the president's grandchildren," IRS supervisory criminal investigative agent Gary Shapley told Congress in blockbuster testimony released last week that furthers an unmistakable portrait being painted by congressional investigators of a whole-of-government effort to preserve Joe Biden's viability as a presidential candidate while attempting to destroy Trump's re-election effort in 2020.
