A stat that stuck with me this election cycle from an AEI study on politics and sexuality (cited in a NYT piece, I'll link both): Self-perception of masculinity is a partisan dividing line for men in a way self-IDed femininity is not for women. 54% of R men view themselves as "very masculine" compared to 33% of Ds. Do you know what two other groups self-ID as "very masculine" at the same rate? Latino men (52%) and black men (55%).
I would bet a Latino prison guard sees himself as "very masculine." Play a word association game with any left-leaning person. What word do they most associate with "masculinity?" Toxic. We all hear this frequently. It's not a secret, and though toxic people and traits are a real thing, the left often leaves no room for the idea of good men who are also masculine. It's exclusively "GIRL POWER" and "men, you've had your turn, quit manspreading" while they're over here facing very problems, more despair deaths and suicide and less educational attainment than women.
It makes plenty of sense to me a Latino prison guard would look at the modern Democratic Party and conclude he's not welcome and instead take a chance on the Party of Dana White and Joe Rogan. Not *because* he's toxic-- you'll lose this voter forever if you assume this migration proves his worthlessness-- but because he thinks *they* don't see him as toxic.
Democrats, who allegedly Love Latinxes, somehow missed the fact that Spanish speakers literally invented "machismo" and therefore don't like being called Latinx transexuals.
This shift appears to have been particularly strong in swing states that Trump won, but he made progress everywhere.

Trump beat Harris 51-49 in Hidalgo County, in South Texas -- a Mexican American stronghold that Biden won with 58% of the vote in 2020.
The backstory here is that Democrats have been saying for more than a decade that demographics are destiny. The big idea was that as the country gradually became less white and more Hispanic, Democrats would at some point have a lock on electoral politics. But of course that assumed minorities would continue to vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. This year that doesn't seem to be the case. And it wasn't just Hispanics who shifted right.
Mr. Trump's gains with Black voters were less significant but still notable in smaller communities across Georgia. Hancock, Talbot and Jefferson Counties, all majority-Black counties with no more than 15,000 people, shifted toward Mr. Trump. The Trump campaign celebrated a victory in Baldwin County, Ga., where 42 percent of the population is Black. Republicans had not won the county for decades.Asian American voters, who make up the fastest-growing eligible electorate in the country, also appeared to have drifted away from Democrats, according to exit polls and unofficial returns.
"The strength of Trump's reach into the traditional Democratic coalition of voters of color was stunning," said Daniel HoSang, a professor at Yale who has written about the rise of right-wing political attitudes among minority groups.

Modern feminism stands for Maoist control over men. Whatever men want to do or say or even just think, AWFL feminists think they should get a vote over whether or men have their permission. And even if they lose the vote -- they still want control.

Harris falls short with female voters, stunning Democrats
Vice President Harris's strategy of riding on a surge of female support ultimately fell flat, with hints that Election Day could see a historic gender gap failing to materialize.
White women sided with President-elect Trump for the third straight cycle, and he also made inroads with Latina voters and young women. Trump improved on his 2020 margins with Latina women by 8 points, according to Edison Research. And among young women, Trump improved by 11 points compared to last cycle, according to NBC News exit polling.
While Harris won women, Trump's gains with the voting bloc have Democrats reeling as they work to understand what went wrong on election night.
"At the end of the day, female voters across the country looked at whether they were better off than they were four years ago and they decided that they weren't," said Lauren Zelt, executive director of Maggie's List, a group dedicated to electing conservative women to public office.
In the lead-up to Election Day, Republicans repeatedly pointed back to the argument that women are often the financial gatekeepers for their families, betting that large swaths of the voting bloc would prioritize the economy amid high inflation.
Democrats, on the other hand, prioritized abortion access to energize women, framing Harris's campaign as a fight for fundamental freedoms.
"Democrats made the mistake of lumping all women together and assuming that we vote as a bloc on one issue," said Kristin Davison, a national Republican strategist.

FINE... I'll be the first to say it: I wish Biden hadn't dropped out. I know it was his choice, and he is elderly. America gave him 20 million votes we didn't give Harris. Why? Because he's a WHITE MAN.
We gambled, like we did in 2016, that America had evolved beyond its sexist, racist roots. And like 2016, we lost. This time we lost even bigger: we lost the popular vote?
Do the math. Americans are garbage people.
Democrats need to reckon with the reality of such widespread misogyny, but I'm not sure if Joe would have won either. The rigors of campaigning would have made things so much worse.
We FOUGHT for democracy. And lost to sexists and racists. There's more of them than there is of us, and their hate is stronger than our nebulous "community".
trump's win shows that racism and misogyny is much worst than we thought. A certain POC demograhic voted 45 percent for trump, up from 32 percent for trump in 2020. Black voters support for trump was just 12 percent. The same as 2020.
I will never get that demographic, who will remain nameless, what the fuck is wrong with them? Some will have relatives and people close to them that will be deported!

The media claims it's not politically driven -- but watch how they flip from "All Hispanics must be treated with respect" to "Deport these fucking wetbacks" based only on how Hispanics voted last week.
Reddit leftists proclaim they hope Trump deports all the Hispanics, including, especially, the citizens. Because they voted for Trump.
Meanwhile, leftists are now demanding Biden resign so that Kamala Harris can serve as "president" for a couple of weeks. So that her feelings aren't as hurt.
