They're no longer hiding their intentions.
Police in Brussels have stormed a right-wing conference attended by Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman after orders for the event to be shut down.
Local authorities ordered the controversial National Conservatism (NatCon) Conference to be closed to "guarantee public safety".
Ms Braverman, the former home secretary, and Mr Farage, the former Ukip leader, were among the political names advertised to speak at the event on Tuesday alongside right-wing Hungarian autocrat Viktor Orban.
Officers arrived after the event began at Claridge's, a venue in central Brussels, to tell organisers it would be shut down. According to a report on social media, police arrived while Mr Farage was addressing the event, giving attendees 15 minutes to leave the venue. However, officers did not appear to force the event to shut down and speeches continued.
Police have now said they will not let anyone else into the venue and people can leave and not re-enter.
The conference has already had to move location twice after mayors within the Brussels region refused the meeting's chosen venues.
Emir Kir, mayor of the area where the conference was held, said: "I issued an order from the mayor to ban the National Conservatism Conference event to guarantee public safety.
"In Etterbeek, Brussels City and Saint-Josse, the far right is not welcome."
Conference organisers said they were launching a legal challenge to Mr Kir's order, adding: "There is no public disturbance and no grounds to shut down a gathering of politicians, intellectuals, journalists, students, civic leaders, and concerned citizens.
"The police entered the venue on our invitation, saw the proceedings and the press corps, and quickly withdrew. Is it possible they witnessed how peaceful the event is?"
In a video on social media, Mr Farage said the Brussels authorities were behaving "like the old Soviet Union".
Politico attempts to pretend that the "mayhem" here is due to right-wing people having a lawful and peaceful conference, rather than the Red-Black fascist who gave the order to shut down speech.
Farage and Orbán's Brussels jamboree descends into mayhem amid police siege
"Tinpot dictatorship," a National Conservatism Conference organizer fumed at local mayors.
BRUSSELS -- A gathering of Europe's hard-right elite in Brussels descended into chaos on Tuesday as police moved to shut down the conference, barricading the venue's entrance and causing widespread outrage.
The National Conservatism Conference had been set to welcome Hungarian leader Viktor Orbán and U.K. politician Nigel Farage over the next two days, but law enforcement arrived two hours into the event at the Claridge venue, near the European Quarter, to inform organizers that the shindig would be terminated.
"The authorities decided to shut the event due to possibility of public disorder," a police officer heard by POLITICO told one of the organizers. The shutters had already come down on the venue where Brexit architect Farage was due to give a keynote speech at 11 a.m.
When he got on stage, as drama continue to unfold outside the venue, Farage lambasted the Brussels authorities as "simply monstrous" for attempting to cancel the event. "I knew I wouldn't be welcome back in Brussels," the former MEP chafed.
The Brexit champion wasn't alone in his stinging critiques of the city's bureaucracy.
"It's really something out of a tinpot dictatorship," Frank Fredi, one of the organizers from right-wing think tank MCC, which is co-sponsoring the event, told POLITICO. "They're trying to use a technical reason to make a political point. They told the owner that if it doesn't get shut down they're gonna cut the electricity."
At least Belgium's PM condemned the mayor's illegal thuggery:
Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, a Flemish liberal, also said: "What happened at the Claridge today is unacceptable. Municipal autonomy is a cornerstone of our democracy but can never overrule the Belgian constitution guaranteeing the freedom of speech and peaceful assembly since 1830. Banning political meetings is unconstitutional. Full stop."
The thug mayor who shut this down is Emir Kir, a son of Turkish immigrants.
We're importing illiberal thuggish fascists and blasphemy-police into formerly free societies. And the left, meanwhile, encourages those anti-western, anti-liberal, anti-freedom impulses because they are anti-western revolutionaries themselves.
We cannot continue importing the left's Street Muscle into the country.
Related: Last week, Biden operatives were asked to lie by their allies in the media and claim they are NOT seeking the votes of the radical Muslim terror supporters who chanted "Death to America" in Michiganistan last week.
The Biden campaign said it does not want the votes of those caught on video chanting "Death to America" during a recent anti-Israel rally in the 2024 battleground state of Michigan.
A Dearborn crowd was led in chants of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" by Michigan-based activist Tarek Bazzi during last Friday's International Al-Quds Day rally.
When asked if the president was still courting those agitators, who typically lean Democrat, Biden campaign spokesperson Charles Lutvak replied, "No."
"No" spelled "Y - E - S." The more Biden falls behind in the swing states -- partly due to Muslims withholding their support -- the more support he offers to Iran and its terrorist armies of Hamas and Hezballah.

This goes far beyond "cancel culture."
This is the mayor of Brussels, the seat of the European Union's government, preventing conservatives from their Constitutionally protected right to free speech.
The leaders of the Western world have lost their minds.
In England, the leftist party Labour laughs at the Deputy Prime Minister being brutalized by police on the orders of a fascist:
