FACT: Two Ohio State students were assaulted by men asking if they were Jewish or not.
The level of violence keeps escalating. In the past 24 hours there were two anti-Semitic incidents at Ohio State University, one of which involved beating up students who were targeted for being Jewish. Early Friday morning, around 1:30 am, two students were leaving a bar off campus.
The victims were leaving a bar when they got into a verbal altercation with two unknown male suspects, Columbus police said.
"According to reports, the suspects yelled a derogatory term and assaulted two students while asking if they were Jewish," OSU's public safety notice stated.Columbus police said both victims "believe this to be a hate crime" due to hearing an antisemitic slur and the suspects asking them their religion.
One victim reported being punched in the face, "causing redness and swelling to the left side of his face," and the other reported being punched in the face, "causing a possible fractured nose, as well as redness and swelling," Columbus police said.
...
The assault was actually the 2nd incident that happened within a matter of hour. Earlier on Thursday, two women entered a Jewish Center and shouted anti-Israel slogans and vandalized property.
...two females went into the building, saying they wanted to look around. Because the building is secure, someone at the front desk allowed them inside after their request."Once inside, one female stood by the front door while the other went into a room and began taking small Israeli flags," the report said. "When confronted by staff, the female ran out the door."
The female who was inside the room then yelled obscenities, as well as "You support genocide" and "Free Palestine," according to the report.
FACT: New York City released its October hate crime statistics.
Hate crimes (whatever that may mean) went up to 8 in October, up from zero in September.
Anti-Jewish hate crimes, on the other hand, went up from 22 in September, up to 69 last month.
Seems to me that hate crimes against Jews are experiencing the much-more serious increase.
New York City released its crime statistics for October Wednesday, and they showed an alarming increase in Islamophobic hate crimes reported.
There were 8 such crimes reported in October, which was indeed a substantial increase since last year there were zero reported.

Antisemitic crimes numbered only 69, compared to 22 in 2022, proving that the true problem is obviously the alarming rise of hatred toward Muslims. We need to focus like a laser beam on reducing Islamophobia, just as every public official has been saying, lest our valued Hamas-supporting immigrants feel excluded from polite society.
Perhaps we should print up some more flyers of hostages held in Gaza for the sole purpose of being defaced, allowing these fine citizens the opportunity to vent their rage without having to travel the city looking for flyers to tear down.
There are almost 9x as many antisemitic attacks in New York as against Muslims. In fact, antisemitic crimes represent almost 70% of all hate crimes in the city, which clearly means that there is an insufficient amount of hate directed at Jews. Leftists really need to step up and get to work.
MIT decided to take no action against them, because these Terrorists in Training -- learning terrorist-helpful engineering skills, I assume -- would be deported if they weren't in school.
So to keep these Solid Citizens in the country, MIT will ignore their sociopathic behavior.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology isn't the only college to have this happen on its grounds. Pro-terrorist students are creating havoc on campus in the wake of the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip following Hamas' brutal terror attack on October 7. These pro-Hamas clowns are also assaulting, harassing, and intimidating Jewish students.
They're an unhinged pack of animals, some of whom deserve suspension or expulsion from their respective higher learning institutions. MIT seemed poised to dole out some severe punishment to the students who were absolutely crazy but stopped when they read that immigration consequences could follow for those on student visas (via Fox News):
Massachusetts Institute of Technology administrators recently explained they would not suspend students who participated in an Israel-Hamas war rally over concern that some of them would be deported as they are in the country on student visas.Although school officials threatened students with suspension if they broke the rules, MIT President Sally Kornbluth said in a statement they would be following through with suspensions from "non-academic activities," as suspension from enrollment at the school could cause "visa issues" for non-American students.
CBS knows what all of this means: Islamphobia is the greatest threat this country faces.
CBS Helpfully Repeats 'Surge' of Islamophobia' Press Release from Radicals at CAIR

CBS News can often be described as a megaphone for the Left. But some times, it gets incredibly lazy. On Thursday afternoon, CBSNews.com published an article that can only be described as a press release for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim lobbying group that's been attached to Hamas. The headline was:
"Unprecedented surge" in anti-Arab, anti-Muslim bias incidents reported in U.S. since Israel-Hamas war, advocacy group says
They're just an "advocacy group," no ideological or geopolitical explanations are necessary. It was at a CAIR fundraiser where Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) said "some people did something" on 9/11:
"CAIR was founded after 9/11, because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."
CAIR was founded in 1994.
The lazy CBS rerun began:
In the month since Hamas' attack on Israel sparked war in the Gaza Strip and worldwide protests, there has been an "unprecedented surge" in incidents of anti-Arab and anti-Muslim bias reported across the United States, according to a new report.Data released Wednesday by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which describes itself as the country's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, showed a tremendous upswing in complaints submitted between Oct. 7 -- the day of the Hamas attack -- and Nov. 4, exactly four weeks later. During that period of time, a total of 1,283 requests for help and reports of bias were submitted directly to CAIR, the organization said in a news release.
Oh, a Hamas-connected organization said so? I ask because a Hamas-connected "Health Authority" told me Jews bombed a hospital and killed 900 people and every single word of that claim was a lie.
