NextImg:Ditzy Democrat Propagandist Alisyn (That Name!) Camerota Out at CNN

"Alisyn" is a name invented for no other reason but to be spraypainted on the side of a van in fire-script.

The talk has been that CNN just cannot afford its expensive "talent" when they're pulling in lower ratings than middle-level YouTubers and were going to start cutting the fat.

Note that it's all fat, but whatever.

Newest CNN "star" to decide she wants to spend more time with her podcast: Alisyn Camerota.

At the time of writing, Alisyn Camerota has not disclosed her next steps or the specific reasons behind her decision to leave CNN. However, she did tell her followers that she would share updates with them in the near future.

She addressed her departure during the closing moments of her final newscast, reflecting on her time at the network.

"I've had such incredible opportunities here these past 10-plus years. I've interviewed presidents and heroes and extraordinary people, the kind of peak career experiences that I had dreamed of since I was a teenager," she said. "The journalists at CNN are the very best in the entire news business, and it's been an honor to have been their colleague."

To the viewers, Alisyn added, "It's also an honor to have been in your homes this past decade through some of the biggest stories of our lifetimes. I'm always touched when a viewer comes up and tells me that I helped them get through these challenging times."

In addition to her statements on CNN, Alisyn shared a video showing her removing her microphone for the final time and leaving her desk.

"I'm onto new horizons," Alisyn stated in the Instagram video. "I'll just share this bit of wisdom: New horizons are great when you're ready for them."

She continued, "There have been times in my life when I was not ready to leave a place that I loved, and that was really sad and really hard. But I think I am ready to leave this place that I loved now. So, I'll be in touch very soon, I promise," before blowing a kiss to the camera and ending the video.

In addition, the very smelly Taylor Lorenz is being ditched by Vox.

Vox Media is ending its deal to distribute Taylor Lorenz's podcast and YouTube show. The company had a short-term partnership with the high-profile tech reporter that is set to expire at the beginning of the year, Semafor has learned.

The company announced its partnership with Lorenz earlier this year in Axios, which dubbed the distribution deal a "huge win" for the company, as it tried to partner with premiere podcast talent on distribution, monetization and strategy. Still, while Lorenz remains one of the most talked-about journalists in digital media, her social media persona is a magnet for criticism both for her and for media companies associated with her.

Vox's decision not to renew the show was made before Lorenz's comments this week, in which she appeared to justify the killing of UnitedHealthcare's CEO as an expression of public discontent. (She clarified in a Substack post that she was not defending the shooting, and was instead making a point about the US health care system.)

Tay-Tay is claiming people are "lying" about this termination of the relationship, but in a very deceptive way. The article says that Vox is terminating their relationship, and she responds, "That's a lie! I've always owned and distributed my own show!"

Well, the claim is that they had a business deal with you and now they're ending it. Not that they owned your show.

But Taylor Lorenz is a proven liar who has again and again lied to cover up her bad ethics. She lied about giving people an opportunity to respond to her defamations. Later, she called Biden demented and unfit to serve. No lie there, but as a, lol, "reporter" at the Washington Post she wasn't allowed to say that. So she lied and claimed that someone was putting up fake tweets from her.
