This is obviously porn. Porn written and illustrated for children.
It's only pretended to not be porn because it's Gay. If It's Gay, It's Okay -- that's the leftwing slogan. Because the books aren't solely intended for purposes of sexual gratification, but also for sexual indoctrination, they're "educational," you see.
No one would ever claim that a book explicitly describing -- and even containing explicit illustrations -- of sex between a teeanged boy and teenaged girl was acceptable material for a school to push on fourth graders. Obviously, such books would be seen as promoting sex among kids and exciting prurient desires.
But always remember: If It's Gay, It's Okay. If It's Gay, It's Okay. If It's Gay, It's Okay.
The finest in Edurotic Gay Entertainment is being offered to children, purchased with money extracted from taxpayers at the point of a gun.
Incidentally, what effect do you imagine it will have on children, who do have a natural curiosity about sex, when the only sexual -- indeed, pornographic -- material they can readily access is gay in nature? And seems to come with official state/societal/parental approval, because it's eagerly, proudly, unconscionably available in elementary schools?
Think that might help a bit in recruiting for the great cause?
I'm not exactly advocating for straight porn to be made available in schools, but if schools are stocking up in gay porn, then yeah -- why shouldn't straight porn be available as well?
If we don't accept "If It's Gay, It's Okay" then equal opportunity for Grooming dictates that kids get a look at the other, socially-disapproved sexual possibility, heterosexuality.
In the first video below, DeSantis puts the media and activists on notice that if they want to discuss this material they swear is appropriate for kids, he's going to show it for the world to see and make them affirm publicly that they're, essentially, p3dophiles.
The second video is something he played at a press conference, I think today, following through on his threat.
Meanwhile, more on Ken Burns opining about Fox and DeSantis. It turns out Ken Burns' practiced air of intellectualism is just as fake and flimsy as cardboard-walled Potemkin Village -- you know, like the Potemkin Villages Nazis used to build. ("Potemkin" is obvious a German word, all scholars of linguistics know.)
Via David Strom at Hot Air, here are videos of Ken Burns showing what an absolutely gold-standard professional historian and general Super-Brain he is.
