NextImg:Biden Is Considering Letting in, Get This, Terrorist-Sympathizing Gazas as "Refugees;" DeSantis Objects, Pointing Out The Fact That Palestinians Bring Their 1000-Year-Old "Blood Feud" Wherever They Go

Of course, of course. Just what we needed -- more pro-terrorist immigrants.

Jordan and Egypt refuse to take them, because they know they're trouble and immediately begin agitating for war wherever they go.

But of course Biden will throw open the the US to them.

The Biden administration is considering welcoming certain Palestinians to the U.S. as refugees as they seek to escape war-torn Gaza amid the ongoing war in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas.

Senior officials across several federal U.S. agencies have discussed in recent weeks the details of potential options to accept Palestinians from Gaza who have immediate family members who are American citizens or permanent U.S. residents, internal federal government documents show, according to CBS News.

One proposal involves using the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program to bring Palestinians with U.S. connections who have escaped Gaza and entered neighboring Egypt, the documents reveal.

U.S. officials have also considered welcoming additional Palestinians out of Gaza and are processing them as refugees if they have American relatives, according to the documents. This proposal would have to rely on coordination with Egypt, which has thus far been reluctant to welcome large numbers of people from Gaza.

People from Gaza who pass a series of eligibility, medical and security screenings would qualify to be flown to the U.S. with refugee status, which includes permanent residency, resettlement benefits like housing assistance and a path to American citizenship.

The number of people eligible is expected to be relatively small, but the proposed plans could provide a lifeline to some Palestinians seeking to escape the Israel-Hamas war.

Sure. We expect the numbers to be "small." And then, when it's ten thousand more immigrants, they'll just say "oopsie!"

This, as the Hamas-run government's Health Ministry estimates more than 34,000 dead, more than 77,000 injured and hundreds of thousands of civilians displaced in Gaza.

Fox is citing the Hamas Health Ministry for casualty figures. I guess we should be grateful they at least noted, in passing, that Hamas controls the Ministry and its Fake Numbers Division.

Ron DeSantis is not a fan of the plan.
Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday bashed President Joe Biden and his administration for accepting Palestinian refugees from the war-torn Gaza Strip. "There was a report out that Joe Biden is contemplating importing a bunch of Palestinian Arabs from the Gaza Strip into the United States of America. And I didn't even think Biden was crazy enough to do this," DeSantis said during a Hardee County press conference.

...

DeSantis has been increasing his rhetoric in recent weeks against Palestinians in Gaza and protesters who sympathize with them, equating the population in Gaza, which is reportedly nearly half children, with the Hamas militant organization that governs it. (Hamas has been designated a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department since 1997.)

70+% of Gazans support Hamas in polls.

Nice try, Miami Herald.

On Wednesday, for instance, DeSantis said that to help Palestinians in Gaza relocate to the United States would mean importing "blood feuds to this country." He evoked reports of rapes and executions during the Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas, and referenced an account from an Israeli first responder that a baby was found in an oven.

In response, Samir Kakli, the president of the South Florida Muslim Federation, said in a statement to the Herald/Times that DeSantis' rhetoric was fanning "the flames of hatred against Arabs and Muslims." "Dehumanization of Palestinian lives must stop -- this is not an American value," said Kakli.

What would you know about it?

@Politics_Matter

Gotta luv Florida under @GovRonDeSantis .. at 4:50 pm, police told Hamas supporters that they had 15 minutes to leave peacefully.. by 5:15 pm, policies started making arrests.

This is how you handle lawlessness of Hamas supporters.

Not sure how many of those arrested were students, but if they were students, they should be expelled.
