President Biden has fallen on stage while handing out diplomas at the Air Force Academy in Colorado.
The 80-year-old commander-in-chief stumbled and fell his knees and then got back up during the graduation ceremony in a worrying incident likely to spark more concerns he is too old to run for a second term.
He walked away without help and appeared to point to a sandbag on the stage that he appeared to trip over.
It is just his latest stumble after he fell up the stairs of Air Force One last year and toppled over on his bike near his Delaware beach house.
The pool reporter said: 'POTUS was walking back to his seat when fell. He appeared to have tripped on a black sandbag on the stage.
'When he fell, pointed to the black sandbag suggesting that's what he tripped on'.

BTW, there's no real explanation for why pièce de rèsistance means what it does, including in French.
"most important piece or feature," 1831, from French pièce de rèsistance, originally "the most substantial dish in a meal." Literally "piece of resistance;" there seems to be disagreement as to the exact signification.
rèsistance in French means resistance, and opposition, but it also means endurance or stamina. Maybe pièce de rèsistance means the part that endures, that part that stays with you, the part you remember?
