On Friday I reported that Wes Anderson had been hired by Kathleen Kennedy to reboot Star Wars. On Saturday, she fired him, and hired Ron Howard to complete filming of the movie he never started, at a cost of "all the billions of dollars."

Wes Anderson will now be rebooting Lord of the Rings instead.
