NextImg:As Jews Are Threatened Throughout the Country, Biden Announces a Plan to Combat... "Islamophobia"

A Cornell student working as a -- let me check my notes here -- "safety officer" was arrested for posting in fraternity life forums as (checks notes) "evil jew" and calling for Jews to be raped and have their throats slit.

He also threatened to shoot up a dining hall used mostly by Jewish students.

ITHACA, N.Y. -- A Cornell University student was arrested Tuesday and accused of posting threatening statements online about Jewish students at the school, law enforcement officials said.

Patrick Dai, 21, a junior from Pittsford, New York, is charged in a federal criminal complaint with posting threats to kill or injure another using interstate communications, according to a joint announcement from the U.S. Attorney's office, FBI, New York State police and Cornell University Police.

It was not immediately clear if Dai had hired an attorney. The federal courts website had not yet been updated with the case. Dai did not respond to a Facebook message and his Cornell email address could not be immediately accessed.

The charge carries a possible five-year prison sentence, officials said.

...

The comments this weekend were left on a Greek life website that is not affiliated with the school in Ithaca, New York, about 227 miles northwest of New York City.

Dai's threatening messages included posts calling for the deaths of Jewish people and a post that threatened to "shoot up 104 west," a Cornell University dining hall that caters predominantly to kosher diets and is located next to the Cornell Jewish Center, according to the complaint.

The messages threatened to "stab" and "slit the throat" of any Jewish males he sees on campus, to rape and throw off a cliff any Jewish females, and to behead any Jewish babies, according to the complaint. In that same post, Dai threatened to "bring an assault rifle to campus and shoot all you pig jews," authorities said.

Currently trending on Twitter: the Islamic/Nazi dream.

Jewish students at Columbia report death threats:

Marxists and jihadis are surrounding individual students to harass, bully, and intimidate them:

The incident, captured on video reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon, shows the student saying "don't grab me" and "don't touch my neck" as protesters surround him, blocking his view and their own faces with keffiyehs.

Eventually, the student tells them, "I live here," as he tries to make his way through the crowd.

"You're grabbing me," he says, amid shouts of "SHAME!"

The student, who asked to remain anonymous, described being pushed and shoved as he tried to film them with his phone. A report to the FBI identified two of the people laying hands on him as fellow Harvard University graduate students, one a law student, Ibrahim Bharmal, a member of the Harvard Law Review, and the other a divinity school graduate student, Elom Tettey Tamaklo, who lives with Harvard undergraduate students in supervisory role known as a proctor.

Bharmal and Tamaklo did not respond to requests for comment.

The FBI also declined to comment. I bet.

So in this climate of antisemitic Marxists and jihadis threatening the lives of Jewish students, of course Biden announces an urgent "national strategy" to confront the hate that dare not speak its name, because it barely ever happens, "Islamophobia."

President Joe Biden announced Wednesday the first-ever strategy to counter Islamophobia in the United States, as concerns over anti-Muslim and anti-Arab sentiments rise amid Israel's war with Hamas.

"President Biden ran for office to restore the soul of our nation," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement. "He is unequivocal: there is no place for hate in America against anyone. Period."

Jean-Pierre said the U.S. National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia is a joint effort led by the Domestic Policy Council and the National Security Council, and will include working with community leaders, advocates, members of Congress, and more to develop the strategy.

"For too long, Muslims in America, and those perceived to be Muslim, such as Arabs and Sikhs, have endured a disproportionate number of hate-fueled attacks and other discriminatory incidents," Jean-Pierre said, pointing to the recent killing of Wadea Al-Fayoume, a 6-year-old Palestinian American Muslim boy, and the attack of his mother, Hanaan Shahin, in their home outside of Chicago.

Wait till she hears about the grim spectacle of black and brown youths playing the knockout game with Jews in New York!!!

I bet she'll be super-angry about that!

A few people noticed that Biden was, per Regime SOP, rushing to support and propagandize for the very people committing antisemitic hate attacks.

The Biden administration faced backlash Wednesday after announcing that it would develop "the first ever US National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia" in the US amid rising levels of antisemitism.

The White House's focus on combatting Islamophobia comes one day after both the arrest of a 21-year-old self-identified "Hamas fighter" in New York who allegedly threatened to kill and rape Jews at Cornell University and FBI Director Christopher Wray telling senators that antisemitism is reaching "historic levels" in the US following Hamas' Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

"For years, Muslims in America and those perceived to be Muslim have endured a disproportionate number of hate fueled attacks," Vice President Kamala Harris said in a video posted on X.

"As a result of the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, we have seen an uptick in anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab, antisemitic and Islamophobic incidents across America," she added, referencing the brutal slaying of a six-year-old Palestinian American boy in Chicago last month.

That incident is singularly horrific. I emphasize the "singularly" part-- that's the only one they ever cite, because that's the only one that actually happened.

There is a dangerous uptick in "Islamophobia," based on this extensive data set of... one single incident.

Harris indicated that the plan -- still in the works -- will aim "to protect Muslims and those perceived to be Muslim from hate, bigotry and violence. And to address the concern that some government policies may discriminate against Muslims."

The White House initiative also comes one day after a poll commissioned by the Arab American Institute found President Biden's support among Arab-Americans plummeting to only 17% after backing Israel's war on Hamas.

By contrast, 40% of Arab-American respondents said they would vote for former President Donald Trump.

And that's what this is all about-- Muslims' threat to vote Republican unless Democrats support Hamas terrorism.

...

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), who has called for the deportation of foreigners expressing support for Hamas, was equally appalled by the announcement.

"After the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust and a breakout of pro-Hamas activism on campus, the White House is claiming Islamophobia is our top concern," the Arkansas Republican tweeted.

...

Conservative writer Mark Hemingway argued that the rollout of strategy signals that Democrats may be worried about losing the swing state of Michigan, which has the second largest Arab American population in the country, to Republicans in 2024.

"Aside from the fact this is a slap in the face to American Jews who are the actual victims of hate crimes, the good news for Republicans is that Michigan must be in play," Hemingway said on X.

Explain this to me:

Muslims claim that they need protection against the mere possibility of unjustified attacks on Muslim civilians, at the very same time they praise Hamas' attacks on Jewish civilians.

Seems to me that if one is permitted, so is the other. That's not me saying it -- that's Islamic ideology saying that.

Unless you just believe that Muslims make up the Master Race and that they may murder and kill the infidels, but the infidels must not even breathe a word of criticism back at them.

Which is, you know, exactly what they believe.
