NeverTrump has a problem: They failed catastrophically. There was no great secret pool of Liz Cheney Voters or even Nikki Haley Voters. NeverTrump has been selling its "services" to the hard left for nine straight years, promising that if you keep them in champagne and sailor suits, they can deliver the huge NeverTrump vote to the Democrats.

Well, they didn't deliver. And those left-wing Iranian billionaires are starting to wonder what exactly they're getting in exchange for their millions.

So Bill Kristol pivots: How about if you pay for an "informal but organized hub for the Trump resistance"?

And who would run such an informal but organized hub? Who would rake in the millions to establish such a venture?

Well, Bill Kristol doesn't say. But since he thought of this brilliant new idea, I bet he'd be willing to take more Iranian money to stand it up.
