NextImg:A Second Obama Judge Blocks the Release of the Epstein Grand Jury TestimonyPlus: Texas Senate Passes Redistricting Map

See, Burt, when I said I wasn't bothered by the Epstein slow-walking, I wasn't saying I wasn't bothered by pedophiles exploiting children, as you deliberately and nastily misread me to score a cheap point.

Yes, this is something Burt said in the comments last week in response to a mention that I wasn't bothered by the files not coming out that much. It was a single sentence.

But Burt wanted to prove he's a HARDCORE TOUGH-GUY on the issue so he hissed in the comments that, unlike me, he cares about pedophiles evading justice.

I said I wasn't bothered by the files being slow to come out, because I trust the people in charge, and if they say there are reasons they can't release them, I tend to believe them.

So here is another Obama-appointed judge who obviously has every political reason to release this grand jury evidence if it's bad for Obama, and she says no, you can't, the rules of grand jury secrecy forbid it.

Which adds evidence to my hunch that when Trump and Bondi and Bongino say they've released what they can release, they're being square with us.

But it's more fun to suggest people are pedophiles and suggest you're one of the few brave souls who opposes pedophilic exploitation of children. Fills you with a sense of real Fake Achievement.

For the second time in a month, an Obama-appointed judge has blocked the release of Epstein-related grand jury records, undercutting the Trump DOJ's push for transparency in the case.

Key Details:

U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer -- nominated by Barack Obama in 2011 -- ruled Monday against releasing Maxwell's grand jury testimony, saying it could undermine the secrecy of the grand jury system.

Maxwell recently told the DOJ that President Donald Trump "never did anything concerning" around her, according to an ABC News report, a statement the DOJ is weighing whether to release.

In July, Obama-appointed Judge Robin Rosenberg in Florida also blocked the release of earlier Epstein grand jury records from 2005 and 2007, citing secrecy laws.

Diving Deeper:

Obama-appointed Judge Paul A. Engelmayer's decision marks the second time in just weeks that a federal judge from the Obama era has stepped in to block the release of Epstein-related grand jury materials, directly undercutting the Trump DOJ's push for transparency. In his written ruling, Engelmayer claimed that making Maxwell's testimony public -- even if it overlapped with trial evidence -- would "risk unraveling the foundations of secrecy" and could discourage witnesses from testifying in future grand jury proceedings.

The Justice Department's request came as part of an ongoing transparency drive by the Trump DOJ. Maxwell, who is appealing her conviction, opposed the release, claiming the transcripts likely contain untested and questionable statements. The DOJ has stated that only law enforcement witnesses testified during those proceedings.

The ruling mirrors a separate case in July, when Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge Robin Rosenberg in Florida denied the DOJ's request to unseal transcripts from grand juries convened in 2005 and 2007. Those proceedings ended with Epstein receiving a sweetheart plea deal that allowed him to avoid federal charges altogether.

I guess we know who the real MAGA supporters are and who the RINO traitor sellout Beta Soyboy Cucks are, huh, Burt?

See, if you can just launch extremely stupid personal attacks to virtue signal, so can I.

I'm so sick of the "I'm a big tough guy because I'm more HARDCORE than you on an issue" bullshit. What are you, a thirteen year old boy trying to prove he's all grown up now, Burt?

I'm really tired of the soyboys acting tough in the comments wanting to have dick-measuring contests about who's more HARDCORE on this or that. "Men" who want to have dick-measuring contests about things other than the size of their dicks probably can't win actual dick-measuring contests.

So there you go, tough guy. Want to call me a pedophile again?

A bonus story. This story is not really that big because only the Senate passed the Texas redistricting map. Most of the runaway Democrats are in the House, and the House hasn't come back into quorum yet.

Obviously it's not a law until both houses vote for it.

Greg Abbott says he'll change the map to deliver eight seats to the GOP instead of five if the Democrats continue fleeing:
