There really are two tiers of justice in America. Anticipate them to continue throwing the book at Trump. Listen carefully, and you may just hear this conversation at a meeting of Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, and Alvin Bragg:
“Donald Trump should be indicted for destroying the spoliated law billing records of the Rose Law Firm.

We live in a remarkably tragic era. There are no boundaries that the Left will not breach to attain its goals. The present focus on indicting Trump anywhere and everywhere for anything and everything has several goals. First, the Left is engaged in a personal vendetta aimed at destroying him. It is a Howard Roark kind of thing, for those who have read The Fountainhead. Mediocrities must destroy those from within their ambit who have emerged from the scrum to succeed while all the others, themselves included, still are mired in the muck. As long as everyone is a failure, each mediocrity in the group ties for first place. However, as soon as one emerges to shine, all the rest suddenly find themselves tied for last place. So, they must bring him down — for their own sense of self, to prove to themselves that, yes, they could have been great, too, but they knew that their achievements would result in their personal destruction. So, they must see him destroyed.
Second, they know that the more they indict him, the greater they make him appear to Republicans, as even his detractors gain an insight and appreciation as to what he has had to face and fight. That realization clinches the 2024 Republican presidential nomination for him. The premise is that once he is nominated by the GOP, he is then guaranteed to lose the November general election that follows because he is loaded down by so many indictments.
The theory may work. It may emerge that the biggest winner at the 2024 GOP convention will be the one man in the country who would lose the general election to the doddering, bumbling, and profoundly corrupt basement campaigner. It could be. Kamala would be one brain cell removed from the Oval Office, which would leave Putin close behind.
But the theory might not work. The corrupt Israeli Left, a political and demographic minority in that country for the past 50 years but still in control of Israel’s deeply compromised and perverted “Justice” system, has slapped the unbeatable Benjamin Netanyahu with four separate indictments, known cleverly as Case 1000, Case 2000, Case 3000, and Case 4000. (Presumably, that leaves room for 3,996 additional indictments against him.) Those cases have been dragging on through the last six national elections. Even so, Netanyahu was elected prime minister again last November. As a result, the six-time losers now are trying to turn Israel into Portland, Oregon, with Antifa/Black Lives Matter–type street riots and national disruptions. But they still cannot dislodge the guy.
Meanwhile, in Kenya, President Uhuru Kenyatta was accused of inciting his supporters to riot, and the case was forwarded to the International Criminal Court. Despite his being under such weight, Kenyatta was elected president again in 2013 and again in 2017. And in Brazil, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was elected again in 2022 despite indictment … and conviction … and prison time.
So Biden and his stewards will pile on the indictments. With all the corruption and deceit in Washington and the fool now in charge, plenty of Americans may well prefer being led by a man of convictions.
