NextImg:Joe Biden, President Non Compos Mentis

If Joe Biden’s mental incapacity weren’t so serious, it would be hilarious.

When the political satire show Veep starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus was making its run on HBO, I enjoyed the few episodes I did watch — but I never really could get into it. I couldn’t help but be depressed at the idea that the people in charge of this great nation were venal, stupid clowns like those on the show.

Veep is funny if you know it isn’t reflective of reality. But even back when the show was making its run, it was too close to the truth.

And now? It isn’t funny at all.

Because all the worst reflections of America’s power elite that show presented are wide open for anyone to see, in real life. And it turns out it’s worse than you ever could have thought.

At least the scheming clowns in Veep were sentient. That can’t be said for what runs the country in real life.

Exactly what in the hell is this?

Nobody in the legacy corporate media bothered to note how dangerous something this idiotic coming out of a president can be. Either absurd fantasies like building railroads across the Marianas Trench to far Bombay are entire figments of Biden’s imagination, or somebody put them in his head.

And that’s a question that should be asked. Apparently, the trans-Pacific railroad wasn’t on the teleprompter; if it was, we’d really be in trouble.

But is Joe Biden having these idiotic conversations in the Oval Office with his inner circle? Is that why he’s blurting out this nonsense and flapdoodle in public speeches?

No answer is good here. Either Joe Biden is so far gone that he flatulates uncontrollably out of his mouth, or those around him are contributing to his verbal delinquency.

And then Biden gave another speech that gave an indication of where this really is:

Then he gave a speech to the AFL-CIO that didn’t go so well:

That might actually have been Biden’s most lucid moment this past week. And it earned him a lot of worry from the Democrat partisans in the union’s leadership, which only proves that they’re more sentient than he is. From the Washington Free Beacon:

President Joe Biden in his first major rally since his reelection announcement told union members on Saturday that Democrats have “the power to transform the country for the next five decades.” Some of those members are more concerned about 2024.

Biden’s campaign speech rehashed familiar themes—Republicans, he told the Philadelphia crowd, want to slash Social Security and Medicaid benefits, and the wealthy need to “pay their fair share.” The message appeared to resonate with the union members in attendance, but several who spoke with the Washington Free Beacon said their colleagues at home felt different. Inflation and a leftward lurch on social issues, those members told the Free Beacon, had alienated many blue-collar voters who once were the bedrock of the Democratic Party but now don’t want to show up to support the president.

“I’m a little worried about my membership in my union, and how they feel,” said Eric Houghtaling, a retired electrician who served as a Democrat in the New Jersey Legislature. “They don’t think he’s rough-and-tumble enough, they think he’s too old. I gotta tell you, the guys at home want to talk more about stuff like guns and immigration.”

Other moments were less impressive:

Then there was this:

And this:

Then he was off for his customary weekend vacation in Delaware, and we almost had a reoccurrence of another customary Biden event, the face-plant:

You might struggle to believe that it could get worse, but on Monday it did:

And this is evidence not of an addled brain but of an ugly character. Joe Biden has seven grandchildren, not six — he just refuses to recognize the granddaughter that his son Hunter sired with a stripper from Arkansas:

That’s the thing to remember about Biden — it isn’t solely that he’s a demented, disgusting old man no longer in command of his faculties; it’s that he always was a low-life.

Now he’s a diminished low-life so removed from sentience that the only people who can laugh are our enemies.

And they’re laughing. Make no mistake about that.

How much longer can we do this?

And given the quality of the individual occupying the real-life version of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ character’s job, can we afford not to continue with it?

Bear in mind that these were just a few of the lowlights of Biden’s public appearances over just the past few days.

The president is not in command of his faculties. And the nation has no commander.

We have never been more vulnerable as a country. It’s entirely too painful to laugh.
