In a tight race, small shifts in momentum lead to victory. Right now, those shifts unfold in favor of President Trump, both because of his affirmative message of American restoration and because of the serious unforced errors committed by Kamala Harris and her allies, especially Joe Biden.
The latest American Greatness polling backs this thesis. It shows Wisconsin as a tied race in a poll that was taken both before and after Biden called 80 million Trump supporters “garbage” in a White House interview, an unprecedented smear of regular citizens from a sitting president.
But that dead-heat race also reflects real momentum for Trump, because the last American Greatness poll, by the same survey firm, TIPP Insights, showed Trump trailing by -3.5% in the Badger State just a few weeks ago. So, the trend is Team Trump’s friend, especially in a state that’s been historically difficult to poll.
So, what drives this mojo for Trump in an admittedly close race?
Well, three factors stand out:
Kamala’s Inauthenticity
Once Harris was compelled to start engaging with the media and finally revealed herself, at least partially, to the American people, they learned how utterly inauthentic she is. After all, her closest ally in Washington, DC, socialist Bernie Sanders, even admitted on national TV that she merely poses as a centrist to try to win the election.
In an NBC broadcast, when asked if she was giving up her “progressive” ideas, Sanders said, “No, I don’t think she’s abandoning her ideals. I think she’s trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election.”
Voters see through this charade and recognize that Harris is simply not trustworthy. For instance, in the latest American Greatness poll of Pennsylvania, a scant 19% of voters say that they believe her reversal to favoring Trump’s border wall is “genuine.”
Economic Struggles
Despite a constant corporate media narrative about a supposedly strong economy, Americans grasp all too well the kitchen-table reality of their lives right now. Life is tough amidst Kamala’s runaway inflation, and citizens of modest means struggle just to afford the necessities of life. Surveys reflect this tangible reality. For instance, the latest Gallup Poll shows that only 26% of Americans believe that the country is on “the right track.”
Similarly, in this new Wisconsin poll, voters reported they were “better off” under Trump by a whopping 55-32% spread. During the Biden and Harris years, unaffordable housing, plunging real wages, and record high-interest debt have all put Americans into a financial squeeze. In turn, Americans properly blame Kamala Harris as the candidate of the status quo and the co-pilot of the plane crash of “Bidenomics.”
Cultural Radicalism of 2020’s Democrats
Americans have long been a tolerant people who allow wide latitude for adults to live as they wish, as long as those actions do not infringe upon the rights and prerogatives of others. But these radical Democrats now are not your parents’ or grandparents’ Democrats.
Instead, the party has devolved into a cesspool of radicalism that revolts most right-thinking people, especially when these extremists target children. Voters reject the notion that children should have sex change procedures that will permanently alter their bodies and shape their futures indelibly. Whether through the toxic elixirs of Big Pharma or through surgery, such monstrous practices represent the opposite of medical “care.”
In addition, there is nothing “enlightened” about allowing boys and men to invade female sports. Such confusion about the sexes represents an assault upon women, and sometimes a literal one—as sports vs. men can become physically dangerous.
On this topic of sex confusion and Kamala’s radicalism, consider that she supports taxpayer-funded sex change operations for illegal migrants and for prisoners serving time. This stance was tested in this Wisconsin poll. Only 10% of voters said it made them more likely to vote for Harris, while 46% said it made them less likely, and 40% reported no effect.
In a tight race, these factors line up to propel Trump to a hard-fought victory. The momentum favors his candidacy, and the people awaken to the inauthenticity of a candidate who was simply installed by Democrat powerbrokers, not elected by the people.
Soon, we can begin the work of a great national renewal.
