President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary is causing deep concern among the D.C. establishment and media over claims that RFK Jr. will be a source of misinformation.
The medical establishment, in particular, appears to be pushing back hard against Kennedy’s nomination with some Food and Drug Administration (FDA) employees threatening to quit if he is approved as HHS Secretary.
The angst over potential “dangerous misinformation” is ironic when considering the amount of deliberate lies and misrepresentations of the truth that were sold to the American public by this same medical establishment during the Covid pandemic.
Dr. Deborah Birx, who was the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator from 2020 to 2021, has admitted that she and other health officials lied to the American public to get them to accept the “two weeks to flatten the curve” narrative, knowing full well that they would push to extend the lockdowns for much longer.
Birx and other members of the medical establishment were assisted by legacy media outlets who eagerly repeated their talking points which were not based in fact and ruthlessly tried to discredit any dissenting voices who questioned their conclusions.
Concerns over RFK Jr.’s lack of medical or scientific credentials are also being voiced by members of the medical ministries who strangely have no problem with the current HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra’s legal and political rather than medical or scientific background.
The histrionics over Trump’s nominations are revealing a prevailing mindset within the Beltway bureaucracy that the excesses of the nation’s capital can only be resolved by those who have a vested interest in keeping those excesses going.
