As hundreds of supporters and haters looked on, former President Trump arrived at a Manhattan courthouse Tuesday afternoon for his 2:15 p.m. arraignment on criminal charges.

On his social media platform Truth Social earlier, Trump expressed disbelief that this unprecedented event was actually happening. “Heading to Lower Manhattan, the Courthouse,” Trump wrote. “Seems so SURREAL — WOW, they are going to ARREST ME. Can’t believe this is happening in America. MAGA!”
Trump stoically waved at the crowd gathered outside of Trump Tower, and pumped his fist before heading into the courthouse.

A grand jury in New York voted to indict Trump in connection with his alleged role in a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.
Approximately 500 Trump supporters gathered outside the courthouse earlier in the day, where “f-ck Joe Biden” chants could be heard in the crowd.

At one point, a black woman in a blond wig who had painted herself white, infiltrated the pro-Trump side where she screamed profanities and hurled racist insults at the conservatives. “I am a racist, f-ck white people!” she shouted.

On Monday, it should be noted, NYC Mayor Eric Adams warned Trump supporters in the city to “control yourselves” and “be on your best behavior.”
Trump is expected to return to Florida shortly after his arraignment.
