White House Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller told a group National Guard soldiers in Washington D.C. Wednesday to ignore “the stupid white hippies” protesting President Trump’s crackdown on crime, saying the geezers “all need to go home and take a nap.”
President Donald Trump announced on August 11, that he was placing D.C. police under federal control and deploying 800 National Guardsmen to combat the rampant crime and homelessness plaguing the nation’s capital. The president’s mobilization of the National Guard in D.C. has enraged Democrats and spurred activists to take to the streets.
Democrats claim crime statistics in the city are at a 30-year low. However, the Department of Justice is investigating multiple allegations that Washington, D.C. police officials manipulated crime data to present more favorable stats.
Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Miller visited D.C’s Union Station to personally thank the National Guardsmen who are stationed there, as anti-Trump protesters chanted nearby.
All three discussed the administration’s goal of making the nation’s Capital safe to visit and live in again, but Miller took special aim at the caterwauling protesters.
“For too long, 99 percent of this city has been terrorized by one percent of this city,” he told the soldiers.
“The voices that you hear out there. Those crazy communists—they have no roots, they have no connection to the city, they have no families they’re raising in this city, they have no one who they’re sending to school on this city, they have no jobs in this community at all,” he added. “But they’re the ones advocating for the one percent: the killers, the criminals, the rapists, the drug dealers.”
Miller said he was glad the protesters were out there making a racket because it was inspiring him and the others to provide “thousands more resources” to law enforcement to help “get the criminals and the gang members out of here.”
“We’re going to prove that a city can serve the law-abiding citizens who live there. We’re not going to let the communists destroy a great American city, let alone the nation’s Capital, Miller declared.
“All these demonstrators you’ve seen out here in recent days—all of these elderly white hippies—they aren’t part of this city and never have been,” he continued.
Democrats are known to hire “rent a mob” companies to create large crowds for their protests and PR stunts. As American Greatness reported last month, the CEO of “Crowds on Demand” revealed that he was offered about $20,000,000 to recruit demonstrators for the “No Kings” protests that took place earlier this summer.
Miller pointed out that most of the D.C. residents being protected by Trump’s crime crackdown are black.
“This is not a city that has had any safety for its black citizens for generations and President Trump is the one who is fixing that with the support of the Metropolitan Police Department, the support of the National Guard and the support of our federal law enforcement officers,” Miller told the soldiers.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Wednesday that law enforcement officers have already “made over 550 arrests” and have “taken 76 illegal firearms off the streets” in their effort to make D.C. safe again.
Miller urged the National Guardsmen to “ignore these stupid white hippies that all need to go home and take a nap because they’re all over 90 years old!”
He added: “We’re gonna get back in the business of protecting the American people and the citizens of Washington DC.”
