U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson, is calling for accountability for Democrats and media organizations that hid the truth about former president Joe Biden’s mental decline during his time in the White House.

Johnson shared a collection of video clips featuring various Democratic politicians and numerous media figures describing Biden as “bold” and “vigorous” even as Biden headed into his disastrous June 2024 debate with Donald Trump.

The Speaker called upon the American people to “never forget how far Democrats and the media went to hide the truth about the mental decline of the man holding the most  powerful position on earth.”

Biden’s debate performance marked the end of his campaign and exposed what Johnson called the “largest political cover-up in American history.”

The White House released a memorandum for the Attorney General in June which states: “This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history.  The American public was purposefully shielded from discovering who wielded the executive power, all while Biden’s signature was deployed across thousands of documents to effect radical policy shifts.”

The memo also calls for an investigation as to “whether certain individuals conspired to deceive the public about Biden’s mental state and unconstitutionally exercise the authorities and responsibilities of the President.”

That investigation will address any activities used to shield the public from information regarding Biden’s mental and physical health, any agreements between Biden aides to cooperatively and falsely deem recorded videos of Biden as “fake,” and any agreements between Biden aides to require false, public statements elevating the former president’s abilities.

President Trump also currently is publicly backing an investigation by the White House Counsel’s Office and the Department of Justice (DOJ) that is reviewing former president Biden’s use of autopen signatures to grant pardons.

The investigation will examine over a million documents to determine the extent of Biden’s involvement and whether current policies adequately regulate the use of the autopen.
