Numerous left-wing female activists have vowed to get permanently sterilized as a form of protest against President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 election.

As Breitbart reports, several of these women were featured in a report by Newsweek, where they expressed fears over their so-called “reproductive rights” now that the pro-life Republican is prepared to resume office in January. However, President-elect Trump has repeatedly said that he intends to leave the issue of abortion up to the individual states and would not support a federal ban.

One of the women featured in the report is 25-year-old Eden Ixora of Florida, an OnlyFans model, who said that she is planning to go through a bilateral salpingectomy, since she believes that “the idea of getting pregnant is worse than death.”

“For me it was a call to action. A need to get this locked in so I don’t have to live in fear that at any moment some random guy can completely destroy my life,” said Ixora. “For me the idea of getting pregnant is worse than death. I’m doing what I can to protect my right to choose. I am choosing me.”

Another woman, 28-year-old Lydia Echols of Texas, who similarly plans to undergo sterilization, said that “if I am to be denied any rights in the next four (or more) years, I will not give them up without a fight.”

The sterilization protest movement is seen as the most radical offshoot of the “4B Movement,” a far-left feminist and misandrist movement that originated in South Korea; based on the Korean words for the phrases “dating men,” “sex with men,” “marriage with men,” and “giving birth,” the movement involves women completely refusing any form of engagement with men, essentially committing to an artificial reduction in fertility rates and population growth.

Rhetoric from the far-left and the pro-abortion movement has repeatedly and falsely claimed that a second Trump presidency would see abortion become outlawed nationwide, even though this is not the precedent that was set by the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in 2022.
