NextImg:In Defense of Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill: It’s Time to Go Big or Go Home

Is Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill “grotesque?” That’s what Elon Musk says. Though let’s be honest, it’s probably not the bill’s cost that’s bothering him. It’s the fact that the bill cuts the EV tax credits that keeps Tesla’s whole business model floating. Sorry, Elon!

Yes, the bill is big. It’s bold. It’s expensive. But it’s also everything we’ve been asking for, and then some. If you’re only looking at the price tag, you’re missing the bigger point: this bill actually delivers.

Do you like tax cuts? Because the Big Beautiful Bill is packed with them. Permanent Trump tax cuts? Locked in. Child tax credit? Raised to $2,500. Overtime pay? Tax-free. Tips? Also tax-free. That means bartenders, bellhops, and servers just got a raise without a single employer raising payroll. It’s basically a stimulus that doesn’t come with government strings. It’s economic empowerment. It’s dignity for the American worker. It’s someone-in-D.C.-finally-gets-it!

And before the deficit hawks start in on all this, let’s get one thing straight. This bill also includes the largest rollback of federal government bloat in modern history. $1.6 trillion in cuts. That’s not nothing! And guess what? The even deeper DOGE cuts are coming in a separate bill. Consider this round one of draining the swamp.

Now let’s talk about the border. This bill doesn’t just toss money at the issue. It finishes the wall. It adds 10,000 new ICE agents. It ends catch-and-release. It ramps up deportations to a million a year. It finally strips Medicaid from illegal immigrants, something Congress has been blabbing about since I was in diapers. “American benefits for Americans” is no longer a slogan; it’s actual policy. Beautiful, isn’t it?

And we’re not even halfway through.

This bill makes bold moves on national security. It repeals DEI mandates. It kills off the Green New Deal nonsense. It unleashes energy production. It bans drag shows for kids at federally funded venues. It blocks China from buying up our farmland. It protects family farms from the death tax. It revives the Keystone Pipeline. It fires the climate cult. It’s like Trump took everything on our wish list, tied it in a bow, and added a tax break just for fun.

So, the elites hate it, and they’re mad. Of course they are. Because for once, the gravy train isn’t stopping at their station. This bill puts YOU first. Not the DEI czars. Not the climate lobby. Not foreign governments or overpaid university bureaucrats. Not the freaks who think taxpayer-funded gender transitions for minors are “healthcare.” And definitely not the people who think it’s normal to dress in latex and read to preschoolers. This bill is for the moms, the dads, the small business owners, the steelworkers, the waitresses, the welders—the people who actually make this country run.

And yeah, it costs money. But newsflash: Washington always spends money. They just usually spend it on garbage that doesn’t help anyone outside of their fancy cocktail parties. This time, for once, the money goes toward protecting our jobs, our borders, and our values.

So when you hear them cry “deficit,” don’t fall for it. That’s not a real concern; it’s a distraction. (Since when did these people care about deficits, anyway? Was it before or after they sent hundreds of billions to Ukraine?) The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projections they cite are based on models that can’t account for the booming job growth and wage hikes this bill will spark. Not to mention the income that will come from tariffs. It’s a game changer in more ways than the limited CBO model can count.

What does matter is what the American people keep screaming for every single election cycle.

We don’t want higher taxes; we want tax relief.
We don’t want open borders; we want a wall.
We don’t want more wars; we want security at home.
We don’t want taxpayer-funded lectures about equity; we want merit to matter again.

And yes, we want a big, shiny Golden Dome that makes America untouchable.

As the president so politely asked, we want it all by July 4th.

So pass the bill. Light the fireworks. And let the America First agenda have its moment. Because if you ask America? The Big Beautiful Bill is long overdue.
