

The Tucson, Ariz. Sector of the U.S.-Mexico border saw 19,400 apprehensions of illegal migrants this week alone, reported the Grand Canyon Times.
John R. Modlin, Chief Patrol Agent of the U.S. Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector, posted on X that, in addition to those apprehensions, there were 155 federal criminal cases, 15 rescues, 13 human smuggling events, 6 narcotics events, 4 events involving “convicted sex offenders.”
This week saw one thousand more apprehensions that the prior week.
U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) seized on this report to call for the impeachment of U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
