As Sasha Stone wrote, AOC’s disgusting smear of Charlie Kirk on the floor of the House was the biggest mistake of her political career. She clearly has no idea who he was, what his beliefs were; she had obviously never listened to one minute of his talks with college students throughout the country. Like the rest of the left, she has seen clips of his words taken entirely out of context or outright fabricated quotes.
With that display of her own ignorance, AOC is perhaps the number-two stupidest member of Congress. Jasmine Crockett gets first place as the most intellectually challenged, the most racist person in the House. AOC and Crockett, along with 118 other members of the House, refused to vote in favor of condemning the assassination of Charlie Kirk. About Ilhan Omar, no words need be wasted on her repugnant nature and illegitimacy.
How to explain 118 elected members of the House who made it known that they approved of the murder of Kirk? These people appear to have been drained of their humanity and to be willing to reveal indifference to the death of a fine young man. If anything is to be learned from this blatant, encouraged-by-the-left rhetoric, it is that evil actually does live among us and has just made its most defiant revelation of itself to the world. These malignant people are not foreign enemies; they are within this country, this Congress, our political class, our media, our universities.
Charlie Kirk was a one-in-a-lifetime prophet of traditional norms and Christianity, who sought to lead young people, especially young men, away from the aimlessness he saw among them. When he visited campuses throughout the country, he taught with gentle dialogue the Jewish and Christian values that have long defined Western civilization but are no longer taught in schools and universities. In Utah, an NVE (nihilistic violent extremist) turned the Utah Valley University visit into a satanic event. For most of us who never actually embraced the concept of evil for lack of knowledge or experience, we now know that it is real — very, very real — and that it operates in the here and now.
All those people wholly devoid of a soul who have for days brazenly celebrated Kirk’s murder are Democrats. If you are one of those who has always believed that the Democrat party is the party of all things humanitarian and grace, you’ve just learned that they are the party of amorality, of depravity. These cold-blooded adherents of the Democrat party believe that those of us who oppose their anti-American, anti-Christian policies deserve death. They are anti-Christian Marxists through and through. How many lifelong Democrats will wake up to this fact is yet to be discovered, but thousands have left the party and re-registered as Republicans since Kirk’s murder.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is without question one of the most ignorant members of the House. She is the poster child for the Dunning-Kruger effect; she thinks she is brilliant but is in fact quite foolish. She’s like a character out of Fast Times at Ridgemont High. That she should be the face of the Democrat party is what one might consider just deserts — exactly what they deserve at this moment in time.
The Dems have learned nothing from their 2024 defeat. Instead of any considered insight as to why they were defeated by the man they did everything in their power to destroy, rather than look inward, they have doubled down on stupid. Jimmy Kimmel is their guy. Stephen Colbert is their guy. AOC thinks she is presidential material. Jasmine Crockett thinks she is the smartest person in any room. That is who speaks for the left today.
Who can explain the democrats’ visceral hatred of President Trump? At this point, it is clearly pathological, without reason — an actual mental illness. Given Trump’s many successes in this second term, one might think they would come around, but no, they have not, will not. That they could not destroy him did make him stronger, just as Charlie Kirk’s vision and movement has become more powerful as he’s now been martyred for his cause. So the left is angrier than ever, driven even more insane by bitterness and sheer hatred. This is why they cheered Kirk’s murder.
Bitterness is the venom that consumes its host. The left’s horrific response to Charlie Kirk’s assassination has proven that the Democrats have been devoured by their own bitterness and are being punished by their own anger. They’ve lost any sense of humanity, and they are devoid of grace.
AOC is her own worst enemy, for she regularly reveals her utter cluelessness. If she is to be the face of the party, the party will get what it deserves: an even deeper dive into the political abyss of irrelevance.
