The Charlie Kirk murder reminds us that there is a lot of evil in this world. It also confirms that a lot of this evil is stirred up by people with political motives. These people often don't understand how their words provoke what just happened to a young man named Charlie Kirk.
Yes, it's time to tone things down but it's their side that keeps on using words like fascist, racist, threat to democracy, and the idiotic Hitler references.
I agree with John Kass:
What infuriated the left was that Democrats couldn’t compete with him or his ideas.
So they killed him.
The one who pulled the trigger allegedly is Tyler Robinson, 22, from Utah.
Whether he’s executed for Kirk’s murder or becomes another poster boy for Democrat violence -- like killer Luigi Mangione -- is not known yet.
But we do know that it was the assassination culture of the Democrat left that caused this.
The killing is what happens when political violence is celebrated and excused by political leaders fawned upon by leftist corporate media that hates President Donald Trump and hates the Make America Great Again movement. Scream out that someone is a monster, a Hitler, a fascist, day after day -- scream it again and again, all of it carried by the giant American corporate media megaphone -- someone is bound to believe you.
And one ended Kirk’s life.
My guess is that most Americans understand that these people are crazy and turn off the channel or delete the email or text whenever they are exposed. My concern is not the 99% who may have political differences but don't kill you over it. The problem is that a small number like the alleged Kirk killer who took all this seriously and decided to be a hero by pulling the trigger. And the worst part is that we can't persuade these people because they are so far gone that conversation won't work.
So the country is in a difficult spot and I'm not really sure how to stop the next one. Just make sure that everyone has good security for the time being. Conservatives need to take these threats seriously and get whatever security is necessary.
