The American people have made their voices heard. In giving Republicans unified control of Congress and sending President Donald Trump back to the White House, they told the world exactly what they want: a return to American greatness, prosperity, and security—in other words, the Golden Age of America.
As I begin my term in the U.S. Senate, I am humbled by the faith the people of Indiana have placed in me, and I am energized by the mandate the Republican Party under Donald Trump’s leadership received from voters nationwide. I pledge to deliver on my campaign promises and to put America first in everything I do.
Americans could not have been more clear: they are tired of failed policies, eroding values, and being a laughingstock on the world stage. They demand, and are entitled to, a government that works for them, not against them.
It’s long past time their elected leaders actually fight for their interests—leaders unphased by the influence of special interests or foreign powers.
My agenda for this session of Congress is straightforward and unapologetic. Alongside my colleagues in the Senate, I plan to rebuild American industry, secure our borders, strengthen our military, and remove toxic influences from our culture. I am laser-focused on advancing this blueprint for national renewal.
We must focus on revitalizing our economy and putting American workers and their families first. For too long, our manufacturing base has been hollowed out by bad trade deals and globalist policies that prioritize cheap foreign labor over American workers. The consequences of these injustices are felt sharply in states like Indiana, and also across the country.
I will fight to implement policies that incentivize companies to bring jobs back to America, invest in our workforce, and prioritize American-made products.
We also need to tackle the border crisis head-on—and with urgency.
The American people want and deserve a secure border and an immigration system that doesn’t put their communities in harm’s way. This Congress must finish building the wall, end catch-and-release policies, and ensure that our immigration laws are enforced without exception. We must see to it that Donald Trump’s executive orders on stopping illegal immigration and protecting our border become law.
A nation without secure borders is vulnerable. A vulnerable nation can be exploited—and an exploited nation is no nation at all.
As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I will work to ensure that our military remains the strongest in the world. But strength isn’t just about hardware; it’s about focus and determination. My colleagues and I will root out the divisive ideologies that have infiltrated our armed forces and refocus them on their core mission: lethality.
Furthermore, we are done ignoring the threat of China. Beijing’s unfair trade practices, intellectual property theft, and aggressive military posturing pose a clear and present danger to American interests. We will confront this threat with clarity and focus, implementing policies that level the playing field and protect American innovation and jobs.
That said, our challenges aren’t just external. America is in the middle of a cultural crisis that threatens the very fabric of our society. Although President Trump has already taken meaningful steps to curb its influence, “wokeness” remains a threat to our institutions. From schools to corporations to the government itself, woke ideology has the ability to destroy everything it touches.
In the Senate I will resist the radical Left’s attempts to rewrite our nation’s history.
To do this, schools must abandon their indoctrination crusade and focus on academic excellence. Expanding school choice, supporting vocational training, and ensuring that higher education is accessible and affordable for all Americans will assist us in accomplishing this goal.
Schools will prepare children for the future, or they will face consequences.
Attaining complete energy independence is another crucial part of my agenda. It isn’t just about economics—it’s a matter of national security. A flourishing energy sector will create jobs while reducing our dependence on foreign oil. This will strengthen our economy and give us greater leverage on the world stage.
To accomplish this, regulatory reform is needed to unleash American innovation and growth. Streamlining regulations and reducing bureaucratic obstacles will lead to the creation of new, innovative businesses and the ability to take on much needed infrastructure projects. Doing so will usher in an era of American ingenuity.
Policy goals aside, we must also address the American people’s eroding trust in our institutions. Congress must commit to a radical level of transparency. This is the only way we can expose and end corruption.
The task ahead is monumental—but so is the opportunity. We have a chance to reshape America’s future and restore the promise of the American Dream for generations to come. But we can’t do it alone. We need every American who believes in this vision to stand with us, to make their voices heard, and to hold the Swamp accountable.
We face opposition from entrenched interests, those within our own ranks, and others that benefit from America’s decline. But we refuse to back down. We will fight every day to deliver on the promises we made and to honor the trust placed in us by the American people.
This is our moment. Let’s seize it together and build an America that’s stronger, more prosperous, and more secure than ever before. The world is watching, and the Golden Age of America is waiting.
