A date has been set former President Donald Trump to be arraigned on charges in the Georgia election interference case.
The plea hearing and arraignment for the former president is scheduled for the morning of Sept. 6, according to his docket.
Trump last week surrendered to authorities at Atlanta's Fulton County Jail and was released on a $200,000 bond. He will enter a plea in the case at the upcoming arraignment.
Trump and 18 others are facing charges in a sweeping racketeering indictment for alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state of Georgia.

The former president says his actions were not illegal and that the investigation is politically motivated.
Trump's former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, is currently seeking to have his trial in the same case moved from state to federal court.
