"Flight AI171, operating Ahmedabad-London Gatwick, was involved in an incident today, 12 June 2025," the airline said in <a class="zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE " data-testid="prism-linkbase" href="https://x.com/airindia/status/1933086483142902226" target="_blank">a statement</a> posted on social media.

The airline said it was "ascertaining the details" of the incident.
